ECS is pleased to announce that Oscar Carpio, PE has joined our Orlando office as a Construction Materials Testing Department Manager. Oscar brings over 30 years of experience in a variety of construction industry roles to this new position. In that time, not only did Oscar lead and manage both small and large-scale projects, but he also developed his specialty skills including foundations and soil work.
As a CMT Department Manager, Oscar will be responsible for managing department growth, marketing and business development. He will oversee and manage materials testing and laboratory operations, lead and mentor young engineers, and oversee project managers and project progress. He will also perform report reviews, review proposals and manage department P&L.
Oscar says, “This new position means a great deal to me and my family as it initiates our move and the beginning of a new chapter.”
Originally from Brooklyn, NY, Oscar attended City College, City University of New York, where he attained a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering.
