ECS Welcomes Concrete Petrographer Blake Restelli

ECS Group of Companies (ECS) announces that Blake Restelli, PG, has joined the firm as a concrete petrographer in our Pittsburgh, PA office. With more than seven years of experience, Blake brings a passion for practically applying materials science in the world of engineering and construction.

“I am thrilled to contribute to the development of the materials science laboratory with a team of talented and well-respected professionals,” said Blake. In his position, Blake investigates concrete material failures and manages petrographic service-related projects. He also performs and oversees laboratory tests, interprets data and prepares technical reports that communicate ethical and unbiased results.

Blake is a registered professional geologist in Kentucky and holds a Bachelor of Science in Geology from Slippery Rock University. As a member of both the American Concrete Institute and the International Concrete Repair Institute, he stays actively engaged with industry advancements.
