CHANTILLY, VA, March 2025 – ECS Group of Companies (ECS) is proud to announce that Travis Giafaglione, PE, has been recognized with the Focus GRIT Award for his determination, drive and focus to making his dream of becoming a professional engineer (PE) into a reality. This award serves as a reminder that the sacrifices, late nights and urge to excel pay off in the end.
Reflecting on his journey and motivation in pushing others to grow while building impactful relationships, Travis shared, “Seeing positive changes in my team and how much we have overcome together fuels my drive to keep pushing forward and reaching for excellence,” said Travis. “I pursue excellence to have a positive impact on those that I work with and for my clients. The better the relationships we build over time, the more work we can earn.”
Travis’ leadership role as group manager for the Hudson, FL office, as well as his ability to pass the PE exam while working more than 70 hours per week, were defining moments in Travis’ career at ECS. Through his hard work and collaboration, Travis turned the Hudson team into a profitable operation. The Focus GRIT Award portrays Travis’ focus to achieve not only his dreams but also lifting others in the process.
The GRIT Awards are an internal recognition program acknowledging individuals who have gone above and beyond and embody our core values of collaborate, focus and lead. Employees are encouraged to nominate their colleagues and peers and nominations are reviewed by a selection committee of ECS leadership and management. The winners were honored and celebrated at the annual ECS Managers’ Meeting.
