FAQ

Submit your resume as part of your application for a specific position posted on the career center.

To comply with government requirements, ECS only accepts resumes submitted online for a specific open job requisition. Resumes submitted through our contact forms cannot be accepted.

Your resume enters our applicant tracking system (ATS) and is reviewed by an ECS recruiter. Resumes are then evaluated and top candidates are contacted.

After an initial screening of your application, candidates who are selected for further consideration are contacted by our recruiting staff or a hiring manager. Whenever possible, ECS notifies candidates of their hiring status.

Visit the career center login page and enter your email address. The applicant tracking system (ATS) displays an iCIMS prompt for you to enter your password or invites you to set up an account. Here, you can click the link to “Reset your password” and iCIMS sends you an email to update your login information.

Professional references may be checked by an ECS recruiter during the interview process. Your recruiter may ask for your references and consent to contact them before doing so. We may also validate your educational history and licenses/certifications. Pre-hire drug screening is required. Random and post-incident drug testing are also required. If your role requires you to drive an ECS vehicle or use your own vehicle for business purposes, driver’s license verification and a review of your driving record is required. Criminal background checks are required for persons with financial responsibility and upon client request.

Yes, this sets us apart from so many other firms. In fact, we have an internal policy that requires our field technicians to maintain minimal certification levels.

You may apply on behalf of your firm to become an external agency with ECS. Once your information is received, we will present you with our policy and terms and conditions for your review and acknowledgement. Once all necessary conditions are met, you will be able to submit candidate resumes, information, referrals and perform searches on behalf of ECS.

Our applicant tracking system takes Word documents [.doc] and PDF-formatted resumes.

Your resume is considered active for jobs you specifically apply to. Resumes submitted through the career center are kept on file indefinitely but you must apply to future openings to be considered again.

You can check the status of your application by logging into the career center.

You are required to answer brief screening questions within our application to determine your eligibility for the position for which you are applying. Some positions may require a physical assessment.

Yes, jobs posted on our careers page are also posted on LinkedIn and other job boards. However, ECS only accepts applications that are submitted through our careers page.

ECS provides on-the-job training, lunch and learns, as well as mentoring by senior professionals. Outside training classes and training workshops may be taken as well.

Yes, individuals often transfer between our offices as long as there is a need and you possess the skill set and qualifications required. We require you to remain in your current position for six months before being considered for a transfer.

Once you apply, your application is reviewed by an ECS recruiter. If your experience is a match for the position, a recruiter contacts you to schedule a phone, video or in-person interview.

Yes. We understand family comes first and that our employees have priorities outside of the workplace. Many offices offer hybrid work schedules and allow remote work. We encourage employees to take vacation and use time off to recharge.
