ECS Group of Companies (ECS) announces the promotion of Tyler Olfers to Branch Manager of our Houston, TX, office. Tyler joined ECS in 2015 and has since served as a Senior Laboratory Technician, Laboratory Manager, Field Services Manager, Construction Materials Department Manager and Assistant Office Manager.
In his new role, Tyler manages the Houston office while overseeing lab operations and projects, performing technical report reviews and spreading the ECS brand across a diverse market. He also leverages soft skills such as leading, mentoring and interacting with geotechnical and construction materials engineers and project managers.
“This opportunity is both a result and a new challenge, in one,” said Tyler. “I believe this is a result of the years of drive and determination to succeed, presented as a new challenge to do what I love in a place I have only visited.”
Tyler is excited about the future and looks forward to contributing to continued expansion of the Houston office in the local market.
